About Mr. Knipe:

My wife and I came to CABC in 2006. We have been married for 7 years and have 2 children. We met each other at Bob Jones University while working on our Masters degrees. After working together and being involved in the same ministries for a year, we knew clearly that the Lord was forming a perfect match. During our time of dating and engagement, we prayed earnestly for the Lord’s leading and we both had a strong desire for fulfilling the Great Commission by being involved in missions.  After a year of pursuing ministry in Kenya, the Lord changed our direction and brought us to Zambia.

What Mr. Knipe loves about teaching at CABC:
I love teaching men called into ministry who come from all parts of Africa in hopes of becoming better equipped to teach their own people in the truths of Scripture. One of my favorite classes to teach is Greek. It is exciting to see how understanding this ancient language equips our students to know how to apply their Bibles in these modern times.

Mr. Knipes Training and Ministry:
Before the Lord saved me as a young adult, I attended a college in hopes of becoming a chemist. After salvation, I obeyed the call to go to Bible college in hopes of being involved in full time ministry. I spent 6 years actively ministering the Word with my wife in a shelter for abused or drug-addicted women. During that time I received my BA in Bible and my Master of Ministry from Bob Jones University. I also spent two years in an Under-shepherd in Training program at my local church, Mount Calvary Baptist Church, in Greenville, SC.  This afforded me the opportunity of accountability as I walked alongside of pastors in our church to glean from their teaching, discernment, counseling, and evangelism skills.  I am currently working on a DMin at BJU.

Mr. Knipe's Interests:

During any spare time, I might be found most often sitting next to my wife at the piano while she plays and my family sings praises to the Lord.  I also enjoy reading biographies of men and women in history who learned what it was to walk in obedience to the Lord.  I have also been accused of enjoying fellowship and just hanging out (literally) with the people from Immanuel Baptist Church, Kalulushi, Zambia.

Mr. Knipe's Classes:
Greek 101
Greek 102
Greek 201
Greek 202
Introduction to Music
Acts and Pauline Epistles

Mr. Knipe's Ministry:
I am currently involved in church planting and have been privileged to see the birth of Immanuel Baptist Church in Kalulushi, a town about 20 Km from CABC. We are praying that this ministry will extend its reach to Lufwanyama, a far stretching bush area which is dominated by false religion. It has been exciting to see the Lord call four young men from our church into training for full time ministry. Three of these men are currently studying at CABC. The Lord has also allowed me the privilege of leading a Bible study in Chingola, a city about 50 KM from CABC
