About Mr. Elmer:

Daniel Elmer trusted Christ as his Savior at an early age.  He used to think that his testimony was never that great because he did not have any exciting stories to tell of how God saved him from alcohol, rescued him from drugs or how he turned away from a life of violence to follow Christ. But he came to realize that God did, in fact, save him from all of those things.  “I am thankful that God in His mercy allowed me not to experience those sins.  I know that by grace through faith I have been forgiven of all my sin.  I do have a great testimony because I have a great God.” Daniel praises the Lord for the forgiveness and salvation that the Lord God freely gave him—not because of anything he has done, but because of God’s great grace.

The Lord led Daniel and his wife, Kristie, to Zambia at different times and separately, working in different ministries. But God in His goodness brought them together and in early 2008 they were married in Zambia. Their love story is a testament of how the Lord will often grant the desires of His servants’ hearts when they are fully committed to Him and when their desires line up with His Word.
