About Mr Beaman:

My wife, Kathy, and I have been married for 15 years and have been involved in Ministry for the past 13 years.  Most recently I have been involved with Christian Education, teaching Bible, History, and Physical Education on the secondary level for 7 years.  I have basically been a teenager for the past 24 years and enjoy more than anything mentoring young men and women so they can be more like Christ.  Kathy enjoys being a “stay at home” mom and teaching and training our 4 children.  She loves speech and has enjoyed great success in training young people in the art of public speaking.

What Mr. Beaman loves about teaching at CABC:
I love seeing the men put into practice the things they are learning in the classroom.  Being side by side with these men in evangelism and outreach is teaching me a tremendous amount about Cross-Cultural ministry. We can make mistakes together and learn how to better minister to people while we endeavor to proclaim Christ for the sake of His name.

Mr. Beaman's Academic and Ministry Background:
I received my BA in Bible at Bob Jones University in 1994 and am currently working on a Masters in Cross-Cultural Ministry at Maranatha Baptist Bible College.  While at BJU I was involved with Street Evangelism and led a large outreach to a Nursing home.  One of my greatest privileges was serving as a counselor at the WILDS Christian Camp and Conference Center for two summers in 1991 and 1992.  In 1993 I did an internship at Calvary Baptist Church in Simpsonville, SC under Guy Altizer while my wife and I were members there.  Evangelist Lin Croxton and Pastor Altizer taught me much in the areas of soul-winning and discipleship.  We moved  to Concord, NH in 1995 and became part of Trinity Baptist Church which was Kathy’s home church and the church we were married in.  While involved with an internship under Pastor Chuck Phelps I took over an existing Bible Study and started another in one of the local Nursing homes.  My real desire was to work with the youth and I learned much under the guidance of Pastor Bob Brenneman.  In 1997 our family moved to Clymer, PA and I began teaching at Calvary Baptist Church and Academy under Dr. Daryl Jeffers.  While at Calvary I taught Bible, History, and Physical Education and a variety of other classes as well as coaching the Varsity boys soccer and basketball teams.  I continued working with the youth group and taught the Young Adult Sunday School Class, was a Trustee for the Church, and drove the Bus for school and Church functions.  This experience taught me much about organization and administration.  Two-Thousand and One brought our family to Trinity Baptist Church and School in Williston, Vermont to work at the School under Dr. David Stertzbach.   I continued teaching in the same areas in the Christian School and became involved with the Church Orchestra.  After my first year I saw a real need to organize our Fine Arts program and get more students involved.  This allowed my wife and I the opportunity of coaching young men and women in the area of Public Speaking and in the area of preparing and delivering Sermons and Bible Stories.  Working with young people has been so fulfilling and we have seen many students follow us in the ministries of teaching children in the Christian School and working with young people.  In 2006 we moved back to Concord, NH while we were preparing to transition to Zambia and put ourselves once again under the leadership of Pastor Phelps.  On August 12, 2007 I was ordained into the Gospel ministry and commissioned to be sent to Zambia Africa.

Mr. Beaman's Interests:
Pastor Phelps instilled in me a desire to impact other lives with my own.  This idea of “Iron Sharpening Iron” has been my ambition and my passion.  Two imperfect people working together to make a better tool fit for the Master’s use.  I love learning from other people and taking something away with me that will be useful for ministry.    I have had opportunity to be involved in outreaches to Haiti, Kenya, Botswana, and Zambia.  One of my goals is to visit each of the major regions in Zambia to see what the Lord is doing in those areas.

My greatest love outside of Ministry is History.  Visiting battle sites and reading about them thrills me.  Many a night you will find a book in my hand and I will read just about anything from biographies to westerns.  I am a fanatic of Fantasy Baseball and Football and I enjoy fishing and hunting.  During my college years I worked building houses and so I like to build things and I enjoy remodeling homes.  Kathy and I have fixed up four homes that we have purchased and have learned how to do electric, plumbing, tiling, roofing, painting and many other things.  Look out when my wife has a reciprocating saw in her hands!  I am no mechanic, but I am not afraid to try to work on cars, generators, lawn mowers etc…

Mr. Beaman's Ministry:
Since September of 2007 I have been involved with Evangelism and Outreach in the city of Ndola (population 400,000).  We have passed out over 30,000 tracts and talked to thousands of people about their need of the Savior.  Currently we are holding a Bible Study on Thursday nights and on Saturdays we do our tract distribution and invite people to our Bible Study.  I have students posted with me from CABC and we enjoy learning from one another.  A typical night at our Bible study will have one of the CABC men greet the people, read a passage from the Bible, and pray.  Then another student will give a short challenge form the Word and I will teach on one of the major doctrines of the Bible.  On Saturday afternoons we have men come over to our house and learn how to lead singing and we work with a men’s group for one of the local churches in Kitwe.  I am always available to preach and have had opportunity to preach in many of the local churches and for some youth rallies.
